From October 2–5, 2025, the Burghof Brodhecker in Riedstadt (near Frankfurt am Main) will host the first-ever Burghof Open Sales Weekend – a brand-new sales concept for show jumping, dressage, and leisure horses, organized by the Brodhecker family in cooperation with renowned breeders from the region.
A fresh take on tradition
The Open Sales Weekend offers a completely new horse buying experience: instead of a classic auction, this format focuses on personal consultation, individual trial rides, and a transparent bidding process with a set minimum price.
Our hand-picked collection features highly talented youngsters and experienced competition partners for dressage and show jumping. The selection is complemented by particularly reliable leisure horses – true partners for life and every occasion.
All horses come directly from the Brodhecker family or from established breeders in the region. The collection includes 32 horses, carefully selected based on quality, rideability, show experience, and soundness.
For over 40 years, the Burghof has been breeding, training, and marketing sport horses worldwide – to both amateurs and professionals across all disciplines. Many horses from our stables have gone on to reach the highest levels of international sport, including gold medals at major championships.
